TCD MIM Entry Requirements
A minimum 2.1 honours degree or international equivalent.
Two academic referees;*
Work experience (optional);
An English competency exam (see below for accepted qualifications);
A GMAT score may be requested in certain cases but is not required upon application.
Applicants who have not yet completed their degree should submit their most recent academic transcripts. If the transcript is not in English, a certified translation is also required.
*Those with work experience may submit one academic and one professional reference.
TCD MIM Application Deadlines:
They will begin welcoming applications for the September 2025 intake from November 2024. We receive a large volume of applications for our courses and as a result of this applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with places offered on an ongoing rolling basis.
Many of our courses fill in advance of September each year so our advice is to apply as early as possible for 2025/2026.

TCD MIM English Language Requirements
All applicants whose first language is not English and who have not been educated through the medium of English must present one of the following qualifications in the English language:
IELTS Academic: Grade 6.5 (6.0 in each band)*
TOEFL: 90 (21 in each section) – internet-based;*
University of Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency: 180 (no score below 170)
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - PTE Academic: a minimum score of 69 to be eligible (with no section score below 59);*
Duolingo English Test: minimum overall score of 120/160 with no section below 100
*Applicants to the MSc Digital Marketing Strategy, MSc Marketing, and MSc International Management programs must meet one of the following English language requirements:
IELTS: Overall score of 7.0, with no band below 6.5
TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 100, with no section below 23
Pearson Test of English (Academic): Score of 75, with no section below 69
Cambridge Advanced or Proficiency: Score of 190, with no component below 180
Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 130, with no section below 110
Please note: Applicants whose first language is not English but who have completed a degree taught entirely in English may be exempt from submitting a test score. However, some programs may still require proof of English proficiency under certain circumstances.
How to Check Your TCD MIM Application Status
Once an online application has been completed, applicants will receive an email to notify them of their application status. All updates and offers are made via the MyTCD portal. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants can expect feedback within 2 to 3 weeks from the date of submission.
How to Accept Your Offer TCD MIM
If you receive a conditional or unconditional offer, log-in to MyTCD portal to accept your offer. To secure your place on the programme, you will need to pay a deposit of €500 towards the cost of your full fees. If you have a conditional offer, you will need to upload your final documents as soon as they are ready to ensure you receive an unconditional offer.

The annual fees for the 2025/26 academic year are:
EU Students €16,250
Non-EU Students €23,250
EU status is based on residency rather than nationality. In order to qualify for EU fees, you will need to have resided within the EU during 3 of the previous 5 years.
Trinity allows all students to pay fees over two instalments. However, those travelling from VISA-required countries should check with their local VISA office as you may be required to pay the full amount in order to travel.
Please note that registered students are also liable to pay Student Levies & Charges (SLC) fees. The fee was €304 for the academic year 2024/25 and is subject to change.

How To Pay Your Fees TCD MIM
The full balance of fees are payable closer to the course start date. For visa required students, payment of fees may be required earlier then this.
Log-in to MyTCD portal to view the balance of your fees. The Academic Registry is responsible for the invoicing and collection of course fees and other charges. Read more information on how to pay my fees.
The preferred method of payment for international students is via Pay to Study. Domestic students can pay by electronic transfer or by credit card (available in August only).
How to Arrange a Visa (if required)
The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs issues visas to citizens of certain countries who wish to travel to Ireland. Further information on student visas and requirements can be found on the Department of Foreign Affairs website visa section by clicking here.
Students who need visas are strongly advised to apply for a visa as soon as they have accepted their offer. Visa applications can take time to be processed and can vary from a few weeks to, in some cases, six months. The average processing time is approximately 8-12 weeks. The Admissions Office does not assist in the processing of visa applications.

Graduate Work Visa for International Students
Ireland is one of the few European countries to offer a two-year graduate work visa. The Irish Third Level Graduate Scheme allows legally resident non-EEA third-level graduates to remain in Ireland for the purpose of seeking employment and applying for a green card or work permit. What if I don't have all my documents?
You can apply with the evidence you do have. You may be successful in securing a conditional offer pending final transcripts or proof of English.
Can I change the programme I applied for?
No, but you can re-apply for another programme.
Can I get my deposit back if I do not accept my offer?
No, if you change your mind the deposit is non-refundable. However, if you fail to meet outstanding entry requirements then a refund can be requested from academic registry.
Am I classed as an EU or Non EU student for Fees purposes?
Please contact the Academic Registry with queries on your status as an EU or non-EU student. Trinity will invoice EU fees if you are based in the EU for the last 3 years or more.
