What is the LSE MIM Fees and Funding Opportunities ?

At LSE MIM, Your tuition fee includes the costs for registration, examination fees payable to the School, lectures, classes, individual supervision, and lectures provided through intercollegiate arrangements. It also covers membership of the Students' Union under current policies. However, it does not cover expenses related to living costs, travel, or fieldwork.

  • Needs-Based Awards: Programmes like the Graduate Support SchemeMaster's Awards, and Anniversary Scholarships are available. To be considered, you must have an offer of admission and submit a Graduate Financial Support application before the funding deadline usually in first week of may.

  • Regional and Subject-Specific Scholarships: In addition to needs-based funding, we also offer scholarships aimed at students from specific regions or studying certain subjects.

  • Important Note: Once you join the School, you cannot apply for the Graduate Support Scheme or any LSE scholarships. It is crucial to ensure you have sufficient funds for the entire duration of your studies.


Government Tuition Fee Loans and External Funding: Eligible students pursuing their first master’s degree can apply for a postgraduate loan from the UK Government to cover tuition fees and living expenses. Other governments and organizations may also offer similar loan schemes.
