Our finance-savvy graduates secure roles across the world, with 91% of our most recent MFA class accepting an offer of employment within three months of graduating. Over half (58%) of the recent class took up roles in the UK, with the remaining 42% accepting roles in 21 different locations worldwide, showcasing their truly global outlook.

Curriculum overview
The Masters in Financial Analysis (MFA) gives you a rock-solid grounding in state-of-the-art financial tools, financial markets and global business understanding. Balancing theory with practice and real-world business exposure, the MFA provides you with the chance to connect with international institutions and practitioners and build an international network.
Our programme equips you with the knowledge and business-ready skills to launch a world-class career in international finance. Here’s an overview of its structure and highlights
Optional fourth term
Contingent on career tracks, and subject to additional fees, MFA students may extend their learning to complete three additional electives courses at LBS or with one of our exchange partner schools to broaden their global exposure and understanding. International exchanges are available with other world-class business schools in Europe, North America and Asia.
Enrolling in the 4th term expands students’ eligibility to apply for more internship opportunities. MFAs may apply for summer internships commencing at the end of their core course work with companies which recruit on a strict penultimate year policy.

Study groups and assignments. Step outside your comfort zone working with peers from more than 40 different countries. Maximum study group diversity means maximum international exposure.
Faculty. The finest thinkers in business and finance, faculty use a range of techniques including case studies, lectures and guest speakers. Empower yourself to manage complexity, solve problems and make sound decisions.

Fees and financing
Tuition fees for the Masters in Financial Analysis 2025 intake are £49,950.
Fees are exclusive of any programme related travel expenses. This gives you flexibility to tailor your student experience and associated costs. For example, the different Global Trips incur varying travel and accommodation costs depending on which location you choose.
In addition to the tuition fees, there is a Student Association Fee of £190 that covers the Student Association (SA) subscription, enabling students to participate in our vibrant community.
Scholarships

Our scholar community represents some of LBS’s brightest talent. In order to attract and support the best candidates we offer a number of generous merit scholarships.
Admitted students are automatically considered for all merit awards for which they meet entry requirements.
Paying your fees
If you are offered a place on the full-time Masters in Financial Analysis programme, you will pay a commitment fee of £2,000 within approximately three weeks of your offer and then a reservation fee of £6,000 within approximately six weeks of your offer.
These fees are non-refundable and are deducted from your total tuition fees. Late applicants who are accepted will pay the tuition fees in a shorter amount of time.
In addition to School fees, there is a Student Association Fee of £190 that covers the Student Association (SA) subscription, enabling students to participate in our vibrant community.

Please review the below guide below which contains important information about the admissions calendar, required documents and what to expect once you’ve applied. Please carefully review all sections prior to submitting your application.
Application Process
Your admissions journey is staged, and you may apply by any one of the application deadlines indicated in the calendar. You should submit by 11.59pm UK time at the latest, on the day of your chosen deadline, in order to be considered for that stage. When you submit, please ensure that your application is fully complete with all mandatory documents including your referee’s completed reference form and the application fee.
The same selection criteria are applied throughout the admissions cycle, but competition is often intense in the final months and we recommend you apply as soon as possible. If you wish to be considered for a London Business School scholarship you are strongly encouraged to apply by no later than Monday 10 March.
Our calendar will indicate when you will receive a review decision from us, and the period we will be conducting interviews, as well as the final decision date. If you have any questions about admissions for the MFA programme, please contact mfa@london.edu.
