Admission Requirements
WHU seeks academically strong, globally minded, and motivated students. Below are the detailed eligibility requirements for the MiM 2026 intake:
Academic Background
A bachelor’s degree in business or economics (minimum 180 ECTS credits) from an accredited institution.
If obtained outside Germany, your university must be listed as “H+” in the Anabin database to ensure equivalence with a German institution.
Practical Experience
Minimum: 3 months (12 weeks / 480 hours)
Maximum: 2 years of post-graduate experience
Applicants must provide an official employer certificate stating their role, duration, responsibilities, and company signature/stamp.
This experience can be completed before the program start date.
Quantitative & Analytical Proficiency
Applicants must submit one of the following standardized test scores (online formats accepted):
GMAT: Minimum 555 (Code: FBR-FH-93)
GRE: Minimum 158 Verbal / 158 Quantitative (Code: 7175)
GTEBS (formerly TM-WISO): Minimum 102 (English version only)
You may apply without a test score initially — offers can be conditional pending submission.
English Proficiency
Accepted tests (valid for 2 years):
IELTS Academic: Minimum 7.0
TOEFL iBT: Minimum 100 (Code: 0682)
This requirement is waived if your degree or schooling was taught fully in English (proof required).Note: Duolingo and TOEIC are not accepted.
International Experience
Not mandatory, but highly recommended. WHU values applicants with international exposure through internships, study abroad programs, or summer schools.
APS Certificate (India, China, Vietnam)

Your Admissions Journey
1. Online Application
Submit your application via the WHU Application Center. The process is fully digital, no physical documents required.
2. Video Interview (Kira Talent)
After submission, shortlisted applicants complete a virtual video interview through Kira Talent, where they record responses to pre-set questions.
3. Final Interview (Live on Microsoft Teams)
Successful candidates from the Kira stage are invited to a live online interview with a WHU faculty member. This stage assesses communication skills, motivation, and program fit.
4. Study Contract & Admission
If admitted, students receive a digital study contract via DocuSign, which must be signed to confirm enrollment.
