Oxford MBA Curriculum
The Oxford MBA follows the University of Oxford’s three-term structure, divided into modules.
The program runs over four 10-week terms, from September 2026 to September 2027.
Core courses and electives are taught Monday to Friday during term time.
The curriculum addresses global business challenges and prepares students for real-world leadership.
Due to the intensive nature of the one-year format, full attendance is expected throughout the program.
Oxford MBA Core Courses
The Oxford MBA includes eight core courses covering essential business areas such as accounting, marketing, strategy, and organisational behaviour. These courses integrate global business challenges and combine case studies, practical learning, and real-world application to prepare students for leadership on an international scale.
Oxford MBA Electives
Oxford MBA students can customise their academic journey by selecting four electives in Hilary term, six in Trinity term, and two during the Long Vacation. These electives allow students to build on the foundational business knowledge gained in core courses and tailor their learning to specific career goals or personal interests.

Oxford MBA Application Deadlines
Applications for the class of 2026-27 will open from 1 August 2025.
You will need to submit your online application form with all application requirements by your chosen application stage deadline. Being considered for a programme at Oxford is competitive. While you may submit your application for 2026 entry as part of any of the 5 application stages listed on this page, you are recommended to apply early.
Application deadlines are:

Stage 3: Monday 3 November 2025
Stage 4: Wednesday 7 January 2026

Final Decisions
The admissions committee will review your completed application. You will know whether or not you have been shortlisted for an interview after applications have closed for the stage you have applied in.
After all interviews have been conducted, the admissions committee will decide which candidates will receive an offer to join the MBA programme.
Final decisions for 2026-27 will be emailed to all candidates by the final decision deadline, below, of the stage in which you have applied:
