Within a few days, you’ll receive personalized feedback and guidance from your region’s Marketing & Recruitment Manager, along with invitations to exclusive networking events in your city.
This first step is informal and risk-free—your answers won’t impact your application, and no GMAT/GRE is required to connect.
Choose your application deadline and make sure to submit a complete application before the date to be considered. Incomplete applications may be delayed and moved to the next month’s jury.
Our online application system lets you edit and save as you go, giving you flexibility to work at your own pace. Before submitting, use the Application Checklist to ensure everything is complete , their team will also review your file for accuracy.
Once your application is submitted, it is reviewed by our Admissions Board during the Pre-Selection Jury. At this stage, we carefully evaluate your academic background, professional experience, international exposure, essays, and recommendation letters.
Your application should clearly demonstrate both your motivation to succeed and your reasoning for choosing the HEC Paris MBA. These factors determine whether you will be invited to the interview process.
If you pass the Pre-Selection Jury, you’ll be invited to two interviews with HEC Paris MBA alumni—leaders who know what it takes to succeed in the program.
The interviews allow us to assess your communication skills, leadership potential, aspirations, and values, while also getting to know you as a whole person. Each carries equal weight in the final decision.
Every interview includes a 10-minute oral presentation on a topic of your choice, followed by an in-depth discussion of your application. Both are conducted in English and usually take place within two weeks of the final Admissions Jury—so be sure to keep your schedule flexible.
After your interviews, your application is reviewed by the Admissions Jury, which includes representatives from the French Ministry of Education, HEC Paris alumni, faculty, and the MBA Dean. They carefully consider your full application—essays, recommendations, and interviewer feedback.
Decisions are made quickly: within hours of the Jury, our Admissions team will notify you of the result. With 12 Admissions Juries held each year, you have multiple opportunities to secure your place.
During the application process, you can also apply for scholarships. Your Admissions Officer will guide you through each step. Thanks to the support of our alumni, friends, and the HEC Foundation, we award over €1 million in scholarships every year to help talented students join the HEC Paris MBA.
