Do you live outside of Germany and applying for our Full-time MBA?
Welcome's applications all year round. However, due to limited spots, we recommend applying as early as possible.
For non-EU applicants needing a visa, we recommend applying by the end of May to ensure ample time to complete the visa process before the programme begins in September.
Applicants from India and China are advised to apply by the end of April due to extended visa processing times and the introduction of the APS.
For those not requiring a visa, the ultimate deadline is 31st July.
Submitting your application incurs no additional fees. Also, don't miss the early bird deadlines to benefit from reduced tuition fees:

Requirements
First academic degree (Bachelor or equivalent)
3 years of post-graduate work experience
GMAT or GRE preferred (alternative: Business Test Methods (Frankfurt School Admission Test) please note our test has a USD 100 fee)
Excellent written and spoken English language skills (minimum score TOEFL 90 iBT, IELTS 7.0 or equivalent).
Language test waivers are available under the following conditions:
If your corporate work language is English (proof from the company is required)
If your first academic degree was taught in English (stated on the transcript)
If you are a native English speaker

Frankfurt School LATAM Excellence Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria -
Citizenship: Open to applicants who are citizens of a Latin American country or hold dual citizenship, with one being from a Latin American nation.
Professional Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant work experience, preferably with international exposure.
Language Proficiency: German is not required, but a willingness to learn is highly valued for professional integration.
Ambition: A strong drive to learn, innovate, and foster cross-cultural business relations.
Award Details -
The scholarship provides a tuition reduction, determined by the strength of the application and alignment with the scholarship’s objectives.
Application Process
To apply, candidates must:
Complete the Full-time MBA application and indicate interest in the LATAM Excellence Scholarship within the online portal.
Submit a written statement outlining:
Professional achievements and leadership experience within LATAM or internationally.
Motivation for pursuing an MBA at Frankfurt School.
Their vision for making an impact in their industry, region, or global business post-MBA.
Selection Process -
Applications are reviewed by the MBA Scholarship Committee based on academic merit, professional accomplishments, leadership potential, and alignment with the scholarship’s goals. Decisions are final, and there is no legal entitlement to a scholarship.

Final deadline: 31 May (early applications encouraged).
Payment Terms
Total fees: EUR 42,250 (including enrolment fees)Deposit: EUR 5,000 (deducted from the total tuition fees)
The remaining fees will need to be paid in regular installments at the beginning of each semester. Should you decide to opt for a full upfront payment, you will receive a 5% reduction on tuition fees (excluding discounts).
Please note that the tuition fee's exclude any additional costs i.e. travel expenses, hotel costs for modules abroad.
Frankfurt School Scholarships
We award a limited number of partial scholarships to encourage applications from candidates of any discipline or background with an outstanding academic or business track record.
Scholarship conditions:
Candidates can apply for up to 2 scholarships.
Only one scholarship can be awarded.
Application is directly in the online application.
Scholarships can be awarded in addition to Early Bird reductions and alumni discounts.
A scholarship application can only be submitted together with the MBA application and not afterward.

For international MBA applicants who bring diversity to the classroom in terms of background or previous experience.
Women in Business Scholarship:
For female applicants who have demonstrated success, professionally or personally, in the field of business.
Entrepreneur & Leadership Scholarship:
For motivated applicants with proven entrepreneurial and/or leadership skills and achievements, or concrete plans of establishing their own business.
Specialised Background Scholarship (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Technology, Innovation):
For applicants with a specialised background in any field and a career trajectory in this area of expertise, who are looking to gain general management and business knowledge with an MBA to further develop their career.

Frankfurt School Alumni Benefits
The fee for the Frankfurt School MBA Admission Test will be waived for Frankfurt School alumni and once admitted to the Full-time MBA programme, they are eligible to receive an alumni discount of 10% of their studies. Please note that this amount is granted independently of possible early bird deadlines and discounts.
External Scholarships & Loans
Several German and international organisations offer competitive scholarships for outstanding students:
German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) awards stipends to cover the cost of living for international students pursuing an academic degree programme in Germany.
Bildungsfonds offers funding to help cover living costs, tuition fees and other expenses during the MBA programme. Funding is available for both EU and non-EU citizens. Applicants must complete a multi-stage selection process. Part of the process is conducted in German, so at least basic German language skills are highly recommended. Engineers can apply for the specialised Festo-Bildungsfonds.
Deutsche Bildung AG offers financial support to German and international students studying in Germany.
Study first, pay later: the Generation Contract (GC) is an innovative model to finance your studies. The GC allows the applicant* to study at Frankfurt School without paying tuition fees during the study programme. Repayment starts after a successful career entry and after obtaining a minimum annual income of EUR 30,000 gross. Alumni then pay back a fixed percentage of their income over 10 years.
* The GC is available for prospective students from the following countries: Germany (and those who completed their high school education in Germany), Switzerland, Norway. Potentially also available for other EU countries, the USA and Canada.
Future Finance provides student loans for tuition fees and cost of living.
Student loans for US citizens are available by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). These loans may be put towards tuition and living expenses. Frankfurt School is one of only four universities in Germany who have received such approval by the US Department of Education. Take advantage of this unique opportunity in Germany to fund your MBA degree at Frankfurt School.
Private loans are available from many banks to support educational expenses. We recommend that you contact your local banks to find out what options are available.
Klaus-Peter Müller Scholarship
The Klaus-Peter Müller scholarship was introduced through the generous sponsorship from Professor Dr. h.c. Klaus-Peter Müller, chairman of Commerzbank AG and honorary chairman of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management foundation, who donated one million Euros to support full-time Masters and MBA students.
The Klaus-Peter Müller scholarship can be awarded to German full-time MBA students who are not able to self-fund their studies and have performed exceptionally well throughout their previous studies, both academically and personally.
Curriculum
The Full-time MBA curriculum (60 ECTS) is an accelerated 12-month learning experience, which is divided into core module lectures, elective courses, and a thesis period. Our business MBA includes a module abroad to Italy and with electives and specialisations, you have a choice of picking 6 courses in total which could be in a combination of 3 courses from each category (Advanced Management and Finance & Technology), or 6 courses from one category.
Please note, these are the only combinations available. You cannot, for example, pick 4 courses from one and 2 from another.

Although you need to complete either the GMAT/GRE or Business Methods Test, you can submit your application before you sit the exam in order to get the early bird discount.
The Business Test Method Exam is taken after you submit your application. Further details can be found here.
Your references can be added to your application after you submit it so that you do not have to wait for these to start the process and you can take advantage of the early bird.
Your IELTS or TOEFL can be taken after you submit your application and at that point, you can speak to the admissions officer to see if you are eligible for a waiver.
Online Application
The first step in applying for the Frankfurt MBA is the completion of our free online application.
AC and /or Interview
After reviewing your application, we will invite qualified candidates to participate in a personal interview with a faculty member of Frankfurt School. The purpose of the interview is to gain a better understanding of your character, personality, expectations, motivations and goals. We arrange the interviews via a Zoom call and in special circumstances in face interviews can be organised.
Results
The final decision regarding your admission will be based on a combination of work experience, employability, academic qualifications, English language skills, admission test scores, the case study essay and interview results. Admission results are generally announced 2-4 weeks after your interview.
Programme Start
The Full-time MBA always starts in late September. All students are expected to join us on the first day of the programme. For non-EU applicants who require a visa to enter Germany, please keep in mind that it can take up to two or three months to obtain the necessary visa.
