The candidate has obtained or is currently pursuing a Master’s degree, a 4-year bachelor’s degree, or a 3-year bachelor’s degree in any field such as engineering, science, mathematics, business, law, humanities, social sciences, or economics.
The candidate demonstrates high potential and seeks to gain or deepen expertise in Marketing.
The candidate is open-minded, internationally oriented, and exhibits strong leadership potential.

ESSEC MSc Marketing Admission Process
Step 1: Anticipate, prepare and take the test
You will need to provide:
1 English test score - mandatory. Exempted if the candidate has completed at least 3 years in a higher education program in English at a 100% English-speaking institution. In that case, please provide an official certificate with the mention that the medium of instruction is English.
It can take several months to prepare and register for an exam slot for these tests.
Keep this in mind before starting your application as without these test scores uploaded in your application file, it will be incomplete.
The management test (TAGE MAGE , GMAT or GRE) is optional but can add value to your application.
Step 2: Start your online application
Create your account and you will receive an email with your login and pin number. These are required each time you sign in, so keep them safe! You can fill in the application form at our own pace and come back to it at any point.
Step 3: Upload your supporting documents

Degree(s) obtained | Authenticated copies of accredited degrees since high school (school leaving). While applying, if you do not have your final diploma that makes you eligible for the program, you can apply with an Enrolment Certificate, with an expected graduation date. Important: By mid-December of your starting year at ESSEC, you will have to provide a copy of your diploma (or a certificate of completion). |
Transcripts/Grade Sheets | Official or authenticated transcript copies of all academic terms attended since high school, including exchange programs (simple copies will not be accepted). Grading Scale details must be provided. |
2 x References | One academic and one professional reference is highly recommended. It is the applicant's responsibility to enter details of both the referees as soon as possible to allow them to send the online recommendation on time. Once you enter their details and save, a link is sent to them immediately to fill out the recommendation online. |

Step 4: Submit your application
Once you have completed your online application and have attached all the supporting documents, the final step is to submit your online application.
Once you have submitted your application online, you cannot make changes to your application.
Please keep in mind that there are several rounds of admissions.
Step 5: Sit for your interview
Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for an interview via videoconference.
The objective of the interview is:
- To understand you better: your personality and your values
- To evaluate your professional and personal project and its coherence with the program
Step 6: Get your admission result
Your application will be assessed by the Academic Directors and an admissions committee. You will be notified about the results by email (refer to the above mentioned timetable).
If you have been successful, you will then be contacted by the Admissions Office to inform you how to confirm your place in the program.
Step 7: Secure your seat
Following your admission, make sure to secure your seat in the program by paying the non-refundable deposit within 2 weeks.
This amount will be deducted from your tuition fee.
