Boston MIM A new project every eight weeks
Boston MIM program stands out by offering a unique structure where students complete a new project every eight weeks, involving collaboration with 35 different companies. Students work in small, diverse teams, gaining experience with a wide range of peers. After each project, they receive personalized feedback to help them improve and apply their learning to future challenges. Guided by experienced faculty, the projects become more complex over time, allowing students to steadily build their skills and confidence.
Project 1. A business simulation and case competition
where student teams run a coffee company during its first year of operation.

using competitive analysis, trend data, and customer research.
Project 3. A digital marketing client project
that builds the media and content for an end-to-end campaign for a new offer, customer segment or market.

Boston MIM Course Curriculum
The Questrom Master in Management Program offers a high level of integration across courses and client projects. Faculty meet weekly to connect course content with the overall learning goals for each eight-week module. In the spring, students can choose electives that align with their career interests. These electives also help project teams create more advanced and valuable deliverables for their clients.

Summer
During the summer a virtual career and job hunting course will develop the skills you need to present yourself, begin networking and interviewing and be ready to pursue your job hunt when you arrive in Boston. At the same time online Data Camps will build MS Excel skills for beginners and refresh skills for more advanced users.
Launch
Launch is an immersion in hands on learning and career development that will integrate you rapidly into what it means to work in the real world. During launch students also take the first session for each course and engage in a Career Networking Hackathon event.

Boston MIM Across Modules: Harness Digital Technology
Tech lab
Students explore and learn the basics of applications they are most likely to encounter in the workplace. Applications range from data and analysis tools, data visualization programs, digital marketing automation platforms, content creation and prototyping applications. The impact of AI is examined and experimented with throughout the course.
Data camp
Students undertake intensive 3 – 4 hour skill building session to accelerate advance knowledge or build foundational basics in data analysis using Excel. Students can elect to undertake additional sessions in coding and data visualization.

The Questrom Master in Management program attracts students who are interested in creating a positive impact on society through business. Re-applicants
The Graduate Admissions & Financial Aid Office keeps application records for one year and welcomes reapplications. Reapplicants must:
Submit a new application form and pay the $125 fee
Write an essay detailing updates and reasons for reapplying
Include an updated resume
Provide new transcripts (if additional coursework was completed)
Submit updated GMAT/GRE scores, if applicable
(optional) GMAT or GRE results
The Master in Management (MiM) program welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds, especially non-business majors. GMAT/GRE scores are not required, and applicants are not penalized for omitting them. Admissions are holistic, considering academics, leadership, communication, and more.
Key points:
GMAT/GRE scores can be submitted to strengthen an application.
A strong test score may benefit applicants with lower GPAs or limited quantitative coursework.
The Admissions Committee may rarely request a score after the initial review.
If submitted, unofficial test scores should be uploaded with the application.

To receive an application fee waiver, applicants must complete the Application Fee Waiver Form after starting their online application. Applicants must request a fee waiver using their CAS ID before submitting their application. Processing may take a few days; wait for the waiver code before submitting, as refunds aren't issued. For dual degrees, the waiver only covers the Questrom fee.

Boston MIM Merit Based Scholarships
Boston University Questrom School of Business offers a range of merit-based scholarships for qualified Master in Management applicants. All admitted students are automatically considered for these scholarships—no separate application is required. Scholarship decisions are included in the initial admission offer. Dean’s Achievement Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to attract top candidates from around the world. It is awarded to individuals who demonstrate exceptional academic, professional, and personal strengths. Both domestic and international applicants are considered.
The Boston Scholarship
The Boston Scholarship honors students with strong academics (GPA 3.3+), leadership potential, 7+ months of work experience, and a track record of community involvement. Preference is given to those with 8+ years in the Boston area. Eight full-tuition awards are reserved for BU and local Massachusetts Bay graduates. Exceptional applicants from outside the region may also be considered.

Yes, if you have successfully completed some analytical coursework and are able to satisfy the University’s other requirements for admission.
Do you offer financial aid to international students?
Yes, all applicants to the Master in Management Program are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships provided that their applications are submitted by the admission deadlines. A separate application is not required. In addition, international students can finance their graduate education with private education loans provided they apply with a creditworthy U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a U.S.-based address.
